let's be honest: cher in mamma mia is awful- facial features all erased, wooden movements, bland version of a classic song. that said, i still really enjoyed her in it!

good and bad news

GOOD - i've been waiting for this to surface for a few years..and finally, here it is!!! the feature length documentary on vashti bunyan. just discovered it just now so not watched it yet :)
BAD - i've also just read that her last album "heartleap" will definitely be her last - OH NO :(

UPDATE - after having watched it i was blown away by some of the clips of vashti when she was travelling in her gypsy caravan - this is such a good film. i highly recommend it

i have 3 of their 7" singles but never managed to find oo-chang-a-lang (alhtough it's available on cd) and i know there's a few other songs they recorded that so far have not seen the light of day. surely some record company needs to remaster and reissue all of them?
