vashti update!
last night i went to see vashti and she made me cry!just to hear her sing winter is blue and diamond day was an amazing experience. but she also sang i'd like to walk around in your mind!!!!!! and to top it all off, she finished with some things just stick in your mind! a fab mix of her 60's songs and a few from lookaftering made it a very memorable night.
i couldn't believe that i was sat there watching a real life genuine doll!
if you get the chance- go and see her - you will not be disappointed.

cento giorni
just after new year i went to venice for a week and only listened to italian dolls (thanks to pplipp for his excellent italian pop mix cd!). anything by caterina caselli proved to be a favourite! what i didn't know was that she starred in a film called Io non protesto, io amo where this clip is from: the ebay search begins...!
