just after new year i went to venice for a week and only listened to italian dolls (thanks to pplipp for his excellent italian pop mix cd!). anything by caterina caselli proved to be a favourite! what i didn't know was that she starred in a film called Io non protesto, io amo where this clip is from: the ebay search begins...!

well i've finally found and watched the film!
it's very typical of 60's cheap musicals- dodgy storyline all with the excuse of having the star sing a few songs. (think cliff richard musicals!)
but i'm not complaining- it featured some excellent songs and a nice change of hairstyles by caterina!
but i guess no-one gives a shit, because no-one left any comments after this post.
