painted by numbers

whilst always being aware of the sounds, they never really did it for me. they should've have been amazing but weren't...until this!

I know what you mean, they never did it for me either. There are millions of bands like this all over the world. In every big Western city of the world, there is a band that sounds like this, no matter if it's in Montreal, Vienna, London, NYC, or even Sacramento. The Sounds,
Glass Candy, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Adult, all of that stuff sounds the same to me.
