This is not to do with Veruca Salt but I just had to tell you...

You must buy The Independent newspaper tomorrow. The Independent Magazine has Francoise Hardy on the cover and she is the main feature. I quote -

'Chic, Unique. Francoise Hardy on forty years as France's most elegant export.'

I love this song. It's going right to the top of my rotation...

Do check out Angie Tillett's stunning version of this song (on Lollipop Train - www.siesta.es); you'll hardly be sorry - the entire album is done in very much the same concept. While I'm at it: the entire "Reverie" and "If..." series, the said Lollipop Train album being one of many, are both excellent, as are Jeremy Butler's two new album projects released by Mushroom Pillow (www.mushroompillow.com); he's the main man behind the "reverie" and "if..." crew. For anyone with a sweet tooth for groovy 60s innocence and a few other very cool phenomena of yesteryear.
