SAMANTHA JONES - UNTIL TOMORROWwhat is so great about sam is how her voice sounds so different on every track- perhaps this is also the reason for her limited success. (she also looks different in every picture!)

to celebrate the new year, i thought i'd share with you my essential albums of 2008 and share a song from each album too. did i miss any albums out?!
there was a lot to choose from, so i had to include some runners up too!

britney spears - if you seek amy - circusbritneys 'blackout' was also one of my albums of 2007. keep miming brit!
i thought this song had a really stupid title until it dawned on me, if you seek amy= f u c k me. billiant!
like a bastard mix of kylie, gwen and dragonette; lady gaga is all attitude and pop. there is every chance that she will be huge in 2009
thank god she's back - it might not be the best comeback album ever- but williams blood more than makes up for the weaker tracks on the album
girls aloud - love is pain - out of controlwho would have thought that out of a tv reality show would come britains most amazing pop group ever? such a top album too. and i'm going to see them play at wembley in may!
honourable mentions must go to...
alesha dixon - the alesha show
alex beaupain - 33 tours
filles fragiles - volume 2
cyndi lauper - bring ya to the brink
madonna - hard candy
the saturdays - chasing lights
