it's the dogs....

LES POPPYS - L'OISEAU (theme from belle et sebastien)
i'm too young to remember this, but i can imagine growing up with this as a kids tv theme would have made me very emotional!

Yes indeed, I feel a little emotional just waiting to hear it.

Oh my god.

Sounds like pre-"Les Choristes"-stuff. - But okay, I do remember it, it's actually from season 2, and yes, it made us kinda emotional ;)

I was watching this tv serie when I was 5/6 year old and, yes, to listen this again (around 35 years later) gave me cold tukey and red eyes.
Thanx

Love it, I'm old enough for it to bring back memories.

Don't think it's Les Poppy's though.
My 7" reads Orchestre Eric De Marsan, but no name of the singer is mentioned.

I think it predates the Poppy's by a few years. (The series started in the mid 60's)

les poppys didn't sing the actual theme song at the time- this is their cover of it- so maybe that explains the confusion!

The Poppy's are much admired at Bides et Musique.
