adieu


FAREWELL TO A LEGEND.
i feel genuinely sad about her passing. she left us with so many fantastic songs, especially form the 60's and 70's. without her there would be no blowupdoll

2 months later, and I just found out that douce France has died; I am so sad, she was one of my absolute favorites. Her music & special charm always appealed to me as I became acquainted with French pop music of the 60s and onward, and also including her German recordings; I could only half understand the songs she sang, but
France still made a unique impression on me that was fun, sweet, tender, charismatic... she will be missed. Thank you, Mordi, for sharing so much of France's music throughout the years.
