Hi Mordi,
Love your site! I'm a big fan of 60's girl groups & "girl pop", and only began to discover the joys of French pop via Serge Gainsbourg & a variety of Ye-Ye compilations about 10 years ago.

So, despite having a bit of knowledge about the "standards", Mme Lebail's delightful song was totally new to me - I LOVE it!

Which brings me to say (in my roundabout way), please don't assume or worry that everyone who visits your blog has heard all the "hits".

Hey Mordi, this is a new one on me too - and I can't believe I've never heard it, it's ace!

For some reason Mlle Lebail doesn't crop up on any of the numerous comps I've got. In fact the first time I cam across her was an early seven-inch I picked up at Born Bad in Paris a couple of years back.

Do you have much more Christine Lebail you'd care to share.

i do have a few more christine songs - but they are not as good as the 2 i have already posted.

i try to only post songs i genuinely like- so i'll have a re-listen to those ones- and if they are good enough for blowupdoll i'll post them!
