This song is fab - was that you that had the link to that Christine Pilzer video where she performed this same song a couple of years ago on a television show? Good stuff!
Plus, I love that pic. :-)

It was Bruno (Schlocker) who posted it. I see no one has put it up on YouTube yet - I'll try and upload it tomorrow. (Mordi, it's in my slsk folder too).

I'm glad she performed with 'Les Terribles' and not some awful dad-rock outfit. I'm impressed she still has her 'cool'.
Citadin - no, it's not the Dassin song.

Her real name is Christine Van den Haute. Pilzer is her step father's name. She recorded 2 EP's. And Champs Elysées is from her 2nd EP which also includes Un p'tit homme spatial, Café crème and the beautiful Ah-hem-ho-uh-errr. Other songs from Christine are Dracula and l'horloge de grand' père. She was born in Nice in 1942. This Champs Elysées has nothing to see with the Joe Dassin's song which was the french version of Waterloo Road from Lionel Morton.(lead singer of The Four Pennies)
Christine stopped singing in 67 and returned back to her "first love" : fashion designer.
