But *do* you have any hits from Doris Schwartz? I have one of the albums by the Kids from Fame, but her only full song on it is "High Fidelity"...

of course i have songs by doris schwatrz! although i have never posted any by her- i have posted 'it's gonna be a long night' by lori singer from the first kids from fame album- a song that breaks everyones heart!

Fantastic song! Love the harmonic male back-up singers and the keyboard that sounds like a rotary phone being dialed. Only trouble is, it makes a hard stop at the two minute mark. Is it just me, or is the song incomplete? Oh, and welcome back by the way. You're welcome to leave some grafitti on our fence. Everyone else does.

I gotta tell ya, this is one of the more bizarre girl group songs I'ver ever heard. Everything's more than a little, well, *off*, and the instruments and voices don't so much merge as they do overlap and confuse. On my first listen I thought for sure this was actually two tracks that had been accidentally combined into a bright mono mess. So cool. Is the rest of the album this great?

Okay, I was able to get the whole song. Never mind

i've checked the song and it IS complete!

I know what you mean- the song is a very bizarre mishmash of sounds- slighlty off key but somehow it ends up working!

As for her album- no, it's not all as good as this! Although it's certainly worth looking out for as there are some amazing songs on it!

watch out for more doris appearing on blowupdoll in the future!
