mordi, i have been dying to find this song for years! i suffer from a slight sissy spacek obsession. saw her in a film called "ginger in the morning" (pre-Carrie) where she played a hippy singer and wrote the songs in the film. i ripped the main track which is really sweet and gentle and will make you smile. if you haven't already got it I'll email it to you.

you've made my day!

that's great - what a find!

Wow! Sissy Spacek cleans up real nice! Good song too. I first heard this on one of those bootleg Flabby Road compilations, which is full of songs written about the Beatles. Mordi, you went too far this time. I like that.

One of the Flabby Road comps also has a song about the Beatles written/sung by Cher (pre-Sonny & Cher). Maybe I'll post it at my blog soon...

Sissy has a great voice. For the longest time I was looking around for Loretta Lynns version of The Patsy Cline song "There he Goes". There's a scene in Coal Miner's Daughter where Sissy sings it at a honky tonk. But then I found out that Loretta never recorded it, and that Sissy was actually singing it in the movie and on the soundtrack.
