My fave version? ZouZou. But I really love Marianne's version of Bert's Blues called Good Guy. I love this theme!

Donovan's original sounds like Sister Morphine. Was pretty shocked to hear Marianne (who claimed to have cowrote Sister) was not only fully aware of YGB but had actually recorded it.
The best version is by Julie Felix who is too embarrassed to sing about touching herself :p

I'd have to say Zouzou's on this one :) ~Darby

Zouzou! Marianne should never have changed "You are but a young girl" to "I am but a young girl" -- just doesn't work.

Zouzou's version is cooler with a better arrangement. With that flute, at times it reminds me of King Crimson's "I talk to the wind".
