MARIANNE FAITHFULL - SISTER MORPHINE
a great song with a troubled history; the record label didn't like it; (it's quite a move away from her early ethereal, folky tunes), it got cast aside then rerecorded by the rolling stones. not until after a legal battle did marianne finally get her well deserved writing credit on it with jagger and richards.
