surround yourself with cilla - sunday

CILLA BLACK - LIVERPOOL LULLABY
along with sandie, lulu and dusty, cilla was one of the top british singing dolls of the sixties. this week i hope to surprise you with a few of her gems. today's song is a scouse masterpiece!



i know i promised to bring you some brand new songs, but until i can work out how to rip vinyl to mp3 successfully using audacity you'll just have to wait! i have no idea what i am doing wrong!

thanks fonsz but i already have the turntable etc - the problem is that i can't seem to rip anything using audacity software. everytime i try it sounds fuzzy and terrible. i'll keep trying until i work it out!

Hi Mordi, I have Audacity and I've used it a couple of times to digitize some stuff I had on mp3. I've also just set myself up to record from vinyl, and have ad no probs so far. If you want to email me, I might be able to help.

found out the problem was with the soundcard on my laptop - so now i have worked out the problem- i will now aim for the solution!

I had a problem with Audacity turning my rips into mono, even though I'd set up stereo! Worked fine otherwise. Hope you can get everything working.
