italo disco dolls - saturday

VALERIE DORE - GET CLOSER
i love early 80's euro disco pop and the italo disco synthesized sound. i of course especially love the accented, often fragile doll vocals. this song is a great introduction to the sound. the first time i heard this i froze with my mouth wide open- i was in shock! it is so marvy!

Yeah, I'd agree; I love Ms Dore's vocals - they make her sound like she's on the verge of tears. Between that and the Eightiesy music, it gives me a very nostalgic feeling. Also, it makes me feel like I'm watching an episode of 'Ashes to ashes'. :-)
