i'm at a loss with this one. it's by mike batt who, amongst many other things, produced and arranged katie melua's 'call off the search' but i drew a blank in finding the lead singer. any sleuths out there?

matt batt also did the wombles! (who had a glam sound) and he's british , so i suppose it's a possibility that this is them.
but it doesn't sound how you'd imagine them to sound does it?!
